Saturday Morning Monsters: Gyango! Original Painting
Gyango! The Kaiju that almost defeated Ultraman, created by a meteorite wishing stone that fell into the wrong hands, is back again wrecking another city! Gyango (aka Gango) has the best personality and was in the 1966 episode of Ultraman: "The Rascal from Outer Space"!
In creating this painting I used a Bullmark toy as reference. This gives the final image layers of character. Like why does he have those weird blocky feet!? Who knows! But I like it!

*Note! This piece has some bleed-through from some test painting done on the back side of the secondary page (the Left side if you are looking at the painting) that I painted over with white gouache but is still slightly visible. The price already reflects this slight defect. It does not affect the main subject of the painting.
